Privacy

Vehicle management processes only the data required for the application to operate and to provide authorized functions. Some functions use Google OAuth and the Google Calendar APIs.

The application requests only the Google scopes required for its intended operation:

• https://www.googleapis.com/auth/calendar.app.created — used to create and manage dedicated vehicle calendars and the events created by the application.

The broad general calendar-access scope is not requested. Google user data is used exclusively for Vehicle management functions and is not used for advertising, profiling, sale of data or purposes unrelated to the service.

Google user data accessed and stored

The application accesses only the secondary Google Calendars created by the application and their events. It stores the OAuth refresh token required to maintain the authorized connection and the technical calendar and event identifiers required for synchronization. Google access tokens are used transiently for API requests and are not stored persistently by the component.

Google user data is not shared, transferred or disclosed to third parties by the component and is not used for advertising, profiling, sale of data or purposes unrelated to operation of the service.

Data protection mechanisms

OAuth credentials that must be stored persistently, including the Google Client Secret and OAuth refresh token, are encrypted at rest by the component using AES-256-GCM with a dedicated application master key. Access to Google configuration is restricted to the protected Joomla administrator area. Only the technical data necessary for synchronization are retained by the component.

Terms of service

Vehicle management is a non-commercial, controlled-access service intended for the vehicle-management functions provided by the application.

• Operational functions are reserved for authorized users and for the Structures for which they are enabled.
• Each user is responsible for safeguarding their credentials and for their personal and proper use.
• The service may be used only for its intended functions; unauthorized access, attempts to bypass application controls and unauthorized use are prohibited.
• Users are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of data entered through functions available to them.
• The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, updates or third-party service issues.
• Some functions depend on external Google services, including Google OAuth and Google Calendar, whose availability is not directly controlled by Vehicle management.
• To the extent permitted by law and considering the non-commercial, controlled-access nature of the service, the operator does not guarantee the absolute absence of interruptions or malfunctions of infrastructure and third-party services.
• Functions and terms may be updated for technical, organizational, regulatory or security reasons; the version published on this page is the current reference.
